Colliano Ribolla with Maceration (Orange) 2018
Colliano is a white wine with maceration aka “skin contact” to create an orange wine made from 40% Ribolla Gialla (Rebula), 30% Malvasia and 30% Sauvignonasse (Friulano) Each variety contributes to the balance in the nose and mouth and all together they represent the terroir of Goriška Brda.
Fermented with skins, this orange wine features baked pear, with citrus and thyme with almonds on the finish. A great intro to orange wines. If you like sherry, you’ll love it!
