Dos Almas Sauvignon Blanc Gran Reserva 2018
Some of our most popular Sauvignon Blancs come from the Casablanca Valley, considered Chile's first cool-climate region. The maritime influence from the Pacific Ocean moderates the average temperatures and generates perfect conditions for white varieties like Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. Wines from this region have a cool, crisp freshness and intense aromatics. In fact, this coastal area is a mirror image of the Central Coast and Monterey wine regions of California. Aromas of fresh cut grapefruit, citrus, and lime zest are mirrored on the light-bodied but lively palate. Excellent balance between fruit notes and acidity, this is stylistically in the middle of a grassy New Zealand Sauvignon and the steel cut French version.

"Attractive aromas of fresh guava, lemons and grapefruit here. This is so fresh and mouthwatering. The palate has a very fresh, gently grassy array of nectarine and green-mango flavors. So fresh. Drink now." James Suckling, 92 Points
