Tasting Notes
Blueberry and blackberry flavors, with slightly spicy aromas. Balanced, pleasant mouthfeel, filling viscosity and a gentle toasty finish.
Vineyard Notes
The main source of this Zinfandel, the Bruella and Fathom vineyards, are home to vines over forty years old. These vineyards produce exceptional grapes with a character only found in California, yielding Zinfandel as rich and spicy and their history.
Winemaker Notes
Early season growth was nice and uniform, and the bloom period weather conditions could not have been better. While June had cooler than normal temperatures, July and August saw temperatures consistently above average. The winter rainfall, excellent irrigation and canopy management along with quick harvest mobilization all played important roles in producing a beautiful vintage.
