Altos de Luzón is a red wine from the Jumilla region. Produced by the Luzón Winery with the grape variety Monastrell. The grapes that make up this wine belong to the winery and are around 650 metres above sea level. The harvest is carried out carefully by hand, treating the fruit with great care. On arrival to the winery, the grapes pass through a selection table, where only those in the best condition are selected to make the wine. The grapes are fermented and, depending on the type of grape, macerate with the skin for over 2 weeks at a constant temperature of 28 degrees. Before being bottled, the wine is then aged in French and American oak barrels for a year.

Lúzon is a winery that was founded in 2000, although its origens date back to 1916, when several local growers and winemakers decided to collaborate and join forces.

Dark garnet to the eye, this wine has a nose of cassis, blackberry and black olive paste with a hint of tar. Blackberry, black cherry, mocha, caramel and orange zest flavors are cloaked in velvety tannins that endure on the tongue and gums.
