Joyland is an easy-drinking cream ale combines grains, grits, vanilla seeds, and Mandarina Bavaria hops for a smooth and refreshing taste for a great year-round ale. Joyland is the name of a 1921 amusement park built for African Americans in Atlanta during Jim Crow. Since African Americans weren't allowed to enter Lakewood Amusement Park across the street, the city built Joyland to provide "the only shady park" in Atlanta where African Americans "could enjoy themselves". It later became the Joyland Park neighborhood.
