Aroma: Ruffino Chianti DOCG is an approachable, easy-drinking wine that has predominantly fruity and floral aromatics, with hints of spice and hazelnut.

Tasting profile: On the palate, Chianti DOCG is soft with a medium body and nice balance, displaying pleasantly fruity characteristics.

VINTAGE: 2016
GRAPE VARIETIES: 70% Sangiovese, 30% Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon
VINEYARDS: Sourced from vineyards in the best-known wine-growing areas of the Chianti appellation.
Harvest: The grapes were harvested during the first week of September.
Fermentation: The alcoholic fermentation, aided by racking and punching down, continued for about two weeks at an average temperature of 79°F (26°C) in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats.
Aging: The wine was then further aged for four months before bottling.
Alcohol content: 13% by volume
